clowder
noun
clowd·er ˈklau̇də(r)
: a group of cats
The Midwest Cat Clowder is the oldest continuously meeting Vintage Sno-Cat gathering in the United States. We meet in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan near the towns of Bessemer and Ironwood.
Our event, which always takes place the first weekend in February, is open to everyone, from Sno-Cat nuts with a barnful of vintage cats to folks who've never been inside a Sno-Cat before. We always have extra room to bring along people excited to experience the fun and power of these machines.
But we warn you, Sno-Cats are very addictive. More than one first time visitor has returned the following year with a Cat of their own!
Check out a news report from Fox21 News in Duluth, MN about our event here.
